Terms of Acceptable Use

1.1 To register, you must provide accurate and complete information, including your first name, last name, email address, and a valid password.

1.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

1.3 Each email address may only be associated with one account. You agree not to create multiple accounts or impersonate another person.

1.4 If you are under the age of 18, you confirm that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Platform.

2.1 Students may browse courses, enroll and pay for courses, participate in cohorts, submit assignments, take part in forum discussions, take quizzes, view their gradebook and progress, and receive certificates upon completion.

2.2 Tutors may create and manage courses, cohorts, assignments, forum posts, quizzes, and grade student submissions within their assigned courses and cohorts.

2.3 Nexkro reserves the right to verify, suspend, or reassign a user's role where there is reason to believe the role was misrepresented at registration.

3.1 Courses are delivered through cohorts – groups of students progressing through a course together over a defined period.

3.2 Upon successful payment, you will be automatically assigned to the current active cohort for your course. If no cohort is currently active, you will be placed on a waitlist and automatically assigned once a new cohort opens.

3.3 All course activities (assignments, forum posts, quizzes) are specific to your assigned cohort. Access to another cohort's content is not permitted.

4.1 Course payments are processed through Paystack, a third-party payment gateway. Nexkro does not store your card or bank details.

4.2 Prices, discount prices, and course durations are as displayed on the course page at the time of purchase.

4.3 Enrollment fees are generally non-refundable once a cohort has commenced.

4.4 You agree not to attempt to bypass, defraud, or manipulate the payment or enrollment system in any way.

6.1 Assignments and forum posts may only be submitted once. Please review your submission carefully before submitting, as resubmission is not permitted.

6.2 Submissions made after the stated deadline will not be accepted.

6.3 Quiz attempts are limited to the number specified for each quiz. Starting a new attempt will delete the previous attempt's data. Quiz timers auto-submit your quiz when time expires; you are responsible for managing your time.

6.4 Grading (for assignments and forum posts) is performed by your assigned tutor and is generally final. Grade disputes should be raised through official support channels, not by attempting to alter records directly.

7.1 A certificate is automatically generated once you have recorded scores in all required activities (assignment, forum, and quiz) for a cohort, regardless of whether you achieved a passing grade.

7.2 Certificates include a unique certificate ID and a public verification link. You agree not to alter, forge, or misrepresent certificate details, or to claim a certificate you did not legitimately earn.

8.1 All course content, including videos, text, images, quizzes, and course materials, is the property of Nexkro Academy or its tutors and is provided for your personal, non-commercial learning use only.

8.2 You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly share course content without prior written permission from Nexkro.

8.3 Content you submit (assignments, forum comments) remains yours, but by submitting it you grant Nexkro a license to store, display, and use it for grading, academic record-keeping, and platform operation.

9.1 Your personal data (name, email, submissions, grades, payment records) is collected and processed to operate the Platform, communicate with you, and issue certificates.

9.2 We use third-party services — including Paystack (payments), Cloudinary (media storage), and Gmail SMTP (email delivery) — to operate the Platform. These providers process data as necessary to perform their function.

9.3 We will not sell your personal data to third parties.

10.1 Nexkro reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Platform in a way that harms other users or the integrity of the learning environment.

10.2 You may request account deletion at any time by contacting nexkroacademy@outlook.com. Certain records (e.g., issued certificates, payment history) may be retained as required by law or for verification purposes.

11.1 The Platform is provided "as is." While we strive for continuous availability, Nexkro does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

11.2 Nexkro is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

11.3 Course outcomes (e.g., employment, certification recognition by third parties) are not guaranteed by Nexkro.
